My Review
Book 2 in the look after you series.
This is Sabastian's story...
In book 1 I felt so sorry for Sabastian, when the love of his life cheated on him and left him for another man, while he was fighting for his country in Afghanistan.
It was a really heart breaking read.
This book was just as emotional, if not more as we get to read what is going on in Sabastian's mind and understand the heartbreak he is going through.
This novel has all the feels - laughing, crying, happy, sad and swooning.
Sabastian is dealing with the aftermath of the break up of his relationship, recovering from a drug addiction, trying to live as a single man and learning to be a dad to a baby girl.
In this book he goes through a lot of bad downs. But when he is at his lowest along comes a guardian angel called Addison (his drug counsellor) from the rehab facility.
She is the breath of fresh air just when Sabastian needs it most.
They start out as friends and she helps him start to deal with his problems, soon they become closer and start having deeper feelings for each other .. but how can they have a loving relationship when Sabastian is still in love with his ex.
This story has a lot of ups and downs, it keeps you on the edge of you seat wanting to know what happens next..
OVERALL- An emotional roller-coaster, a great 5* read.. it did not disappoint. an awesome book by an amazingly talented author....xoxo Faye
